Mine got bad sectors

I had to returned mine because it had bad sectors. I attempted to fix it, but failed. I do not recommend buying this. Get a WD instead. I got just that for replacement but not from Amazon.
I received my refund claim today. But it is only 80% as it’s been more than 30 days since I received the item (1st week of Feb).
In my defense, I shipped back the item in the 3rd week of Feb after attempting to fix this thing.
So that 30-day window to return sucks considering Amazon takes a long time to receive and process the claim. I am pretty sure it takes less than 1 week for the item to be returned.
I would give it zero star but that’s not possible.
Not satisfied with both the product and Amazon.
Be careful in your purchase.

I purchased the drive exactly four months ago. It has begun making squeaking and grinding noises. Upon going to the toshiba site to check the warranty, it says it is expired. This site lists it as having a 3 year warranty. This has not been resolved yet and I am just waiting for the stupid thing to die and lose all the data not saved since my last backup….

Gostei deste HD, ele é leve, pequeno, rápido e tem um bom design. O único problema é que o cabo USB solta relativamente fácil dele, então não é bom de usar na cama ou no colo, quando estiver usando deixe-o bem parado.

Awesome little External Hard Drive

I am a Mac owner and I was deploying to Afghanistan, I copied all of my music and photos from my Mac to the Toshiba Hard Drive. The computer that I used in country was a Dell PC laptop. I did not have any issues going from one computer to the other. It is a great, good looking durable little hard drive. I would by another one if I needed it, and the price was great!

I bought a 320 Gigas mini external drive, it has been working very well. Small, light and easy to carry but you should be carefull with the cable; very weak and it seems i will replace it soon. I have trying with a “similar” cables but no one works. Perhaps i should buy a new one to Toshiba. Beside some times i have problem when i`m working with a 8 Gigas Pen Drive, some times it recognize it and some times doesn`t when i`m using both at the same time.
